Andy`s Deli in Columbia

I love Andy's Deli. A one of a kind place. I hafta admit I always get the same thing. Andy's Special. But I'm sure everything else is terrific as well!

Always get one Astronaut and one turkey dip. Wonderful sandwiches. Party trays are excellent.

Best deli in Columbia, SC always friendly service ...I'll eat as often as can. Love the Ruben sandwich .and my dear Greek salads

Parked here while getting a piercing at Immaculate Body Piercing and then came and had lunch here afterwards, so as not to abuse their parking lot privilege. Very kind, old fashioned service, definitely has that family owned for longer than most of us have been alive feeling. Good food, pleasant environment. It was raining that day and it was nice to come in and warm up with some comfort food. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely grab a bite here. Very unique and fun experience.

The food here is delicious!The management and employees are very friendly!The atmosphere is cozy and ornate a great place for big crowds with plenty of space.My only two things: 1 you are either getting comfort food or a salad and soup and 2 the cost is just a hair more than I'd expect for a sandwich.I enjoyed eating a signature Andy's sub.

Andy's is the iconic retro traditional 70's deli. And Andy himself will serve you. The food is always great, and the retro tiles on the bathroom floor always clean. Eat at Andy's!

An old timey deli in central Columbia. Really big portions of great tasting food at competitive prices. And, they use styrofoam- you know, the stuff that really works. Super friendly staff. Bonus! Free and easy parking. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy the sandwiches

Used to live in Columbia. Have been gone over 20 years now, but every time I am in Columbia I have to get and Andy's Special with his famous dipping sauce. I always look forward to hearing, "Hello My Dear" and feeling like my business is appreciated. The entire staff is wonderful. I wish we had an Andy's Deli in Knoxville and Bristol TN. I have never found a better sub!!!

Local sandwich spot at 5 points. Had a cold Italian sub. Went great with a cream soda. Stop in and check em out

Lived in Columbia all of my life and have driven past this place many times, however tonight my goddaughter asked that we meet here for dinner and I’m so glad that we did! The food was great and the service was even better. Very grateful for a warm meal & warmer smile while being served. Quality is worth every penny! Recommend if you want to leave with a full heart & a full belly! ❤️👍🏻

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! THIS IS BY FAR MY ALL TIME FAVORITE PLACE. My coworker introduced me and so it was my first time there, the food was amazing and the homemade sauce was to die for and I dont even know what was in it.

I wasn't 100% down to try it but I'm glad I did! My boyfriend's and my favorite sandwich place now. You can tell they've been there for A long time. Andy was very helpful and friendly and his son was very quick. The type of place you can sit down with the owner and enjoy a good meal. Love it

My wife parked in the lot to wait for me and was treated very rudely by someone who worked there, when she told them she was waiting for her husband so we could eat there. When I arrived and we got our food it made us wonder why anyone would even want to eat there anyway. Terrible is the best way to describe the food.

Was on a mission to find a good old fashioned deli ( where they actually cook their own pastrami and corned beef). The Greeting was Awesome and the place really reminds me of deli's I had known in the past. Just moved here from Fl. Was looking for just the right combo. Owner was very nice. He politely told me that the meats were all pre packaged, and were warmed up with microwave. Price for 2 sandwiches, glass water. Even with senior discount was 15.00 I will keep searching for the deli that cooks there own pastrami. Thank you

Andy's Deli is awesome. It has not changed much - if any - over the years which is a really good thing. Andy is himself a Columbia Institution. Warm, friendly and a great place to meet folks for lunch.

I have known Andy for many years, since the 70s. What a great man and what a great restaurant! I have to admit that in all that time I have only strayed from my usual order on two occasions. I love the food and the service there! Do yourselves a favor and treat yourself to some Andy's. As always I look forward to seeing you again my friend! I would say my dear but that might be a little awkward 😂.

First-timer. I got the Greek Salad Bowl. Lettuce, tomato, everything was fresh and delicious. You get A LOT for the price and quick pleasant service!

Good food, great location, and fast service with a smile. 4 stars just because it's good but doesn't stand out (very similar to grouchos but a little better), and places like Jason's Deli and East Bay Deli are better for a similar price, though the service and friendliness of the owner here is incredible. He's a gem of a man. I ordered the Reuben and requested special sauce on the side (like 45 sauce or thousand island), and it was quite good, with muenster cheese which was a welcome change that made it stand out.

I have been coming here since they opened...I was 16...I came at least once or twice a week....I went today after very long time and Andy remembered me....i love the astronaut.....and their sauce is so much better than grouchos......

I enjoy Andy's from time to time. Sandwiches are always fresh if a little small for the price but, that's relative, you may find them perfect. Service is very good and employees are friendly. Would have given 5 stars but parking is tight especially during lunch time and tables can be wet and sticker from last wipe down when busy. Otherwise if you are looking for a nice casual atmosphere and good quality give them a try, you probably won't be disappointed.

The food here is pretty average. It's not bad, but nothing life changing. The aesthetic of the place is comforting. There's an overwhelming sense of nostalgia that washes over you when you walk in, making everything worth it. The employees are friendly.
